District Attorney Files Chapter 7

Mendocino County, California district attorney Meredith Lintott has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. She has reported that filing for bankruptcy became necessary when her Fort Bragg home wouldn't sell. Lintott and other elected officials did take a 10 percent pay cut last year as well. Lintott says that she has been hit by the economy as her house is now in default.
