Dan Stern Homes Files for Chapter 7 in Tennessee

Brentwood, Tennessee - it is being reported that Dan Stern Homes recently filed for
Chapter 7 bankruptcy and so too have the company's owners, Dan and Dana Stern. Dan Stern Homes is a luxury home building company that serves counties throughout the state.
In the company's bankruptcy petition, it lists $191,500 in assets and $3.7 million in liabilities. The company states that it owes the Bank of Nashville $2.86 million for lots it obtained in the Windstone and Olde Towne subdivisions.
The owners personal bankruptcy petition lists $1.05 million in assets and close to $7 million in liabilities. Amongst the liabilities is a $3.2 million business loan from Pinnacle Financial Partners, which is based in Nashville.
Dan Stern Homes was developing in Brentwood off Murray Lane prior to filing for Chapter 7. It had plans to develop 21 home sites.
