Waste Management Company Files for Bankruptcy

CES Environmental Services has filed for bankruptcy protection after dealing with problems that included odors, explosions and on-the-job deaths. In the Chapter 11 filing, the company has reported liabilities at between $1 million and $10 million while assets are less than $50,000. The company is hoping to restructure its debt and possibly sell assets or close some operations in order to emerge from bankruptcy.
