Harlem's North General Hospital is reportedly planning to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. As a result of this filing, the hospital will also be shutting down. In place of the hospital, an urgent care clinic will be available. Along with this, the public hospital system will move two of its facilities, a nursing home and a 200-bed long-term rehabilitation center, to the North General site from Roosevelt Island.
